Announcing the Scripture passage for January’s Journey Challenge!

We are so excited to announce that the Scripture passage that we will be memorizing for the 2018 Journey Challenge is:

Journey Challenge Details:
• Who: Anyone may participate in the Challenge.
• What: Memorize and meditate on Ephesians 1:1-23.
• Why: To deepen your relationship with the Lord.
• When: January 1-31, 2018

Daily Encouragement
As we memorize Ephesians 1 together, the Journey team also will provide daily encouragement! This blog will have an encouraging word from someone who has served as a leader at a past Journey posted daily. These blog posts will correspond with the verse for the day. Since there are only 23 verses in Ephesians 1, we plan to have one day a week when we are not memorizing a new verse but instead taking time to mediate on the verses we have already memorized. A few days near the end of January will also be set apart so we can finish memorizing all the verses of the Journey Challenge.

Upon completing the challenge, send us a note saying you have memorized the chapter and quoted it to a parent or friend. The Journey team plans to send a small token recognizing your achievement. However, the real reward will be the treasure of God’s Word hidden in your heart. Are you up for the challenge?
