Congratulations Journey Challenge Participants!

by | Feb 21, 2019

Wow! It is hard to believe that another Journey Challenge has been completed. We are so thankful for all of you that participated in the Journey Challenge during the month of January and memorized and meditated on Isaiah 55. Although the Journey Challenge has finished the Journey of memorizing and meditating on the Word to cultivate an intimate relationship with God continues on, not just as a month long activity, but rather a journey of daily going deeper in our relationship with the Lord through spending time receiving His Word through meditating on it.

As different ones of those participating in the Journey Challenge completed the Challenge and emailed in, it was such a blessing to read about what God was doing in their lives as they spent time filling their minds and hearts with Isaiah 55. It is our joy and privilege to extend a hearty congratulations to those that completed the Journey Challenge during the month of January:

If you started memorizing Isaiah 55 and meditating on it but did not finish it during the month of January, don’t be discouraged! Just continue on daily meditating on the Word and seeking the Lord.

Whether you completed the Challenge or only did part of it we want to encourage you with these words from Jesus from the parable of the sower: “But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.” Luke 8:15.

Now that you have spent time memorizing a chapter of Scripture, keep the Scriptures at the forefront of your mind, treasuring them up in your heart and meditating on them day and night. Continuing in the Word like this will bring forth fruit in your life. An important word in the above mentioned verse is the word patience. Don’t be discouraged if you feel like you don’t see instant results. Just keep planting the seed of God’s Word in your heart through meditating on it and the fruit will come, with patience.

May the Lord richly bless each one of you as you continue to seek the face of our Lord and abide in His Word!

“Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.” (1 Chronicles 16:11)

Blessings In Christ,

The Journey to the Heart Office
